Who needs an appraisal?
You may need an appraisal for various reasons:
-Obtaining a mortgage
-Refinancing a mortgage
-Getting a home equity line of credit
-Estate planning
-Divorce settlement
-Tax appeal
-Marketing purposes
-Cash purchase
How does the process work?
It begins with scheduling a time for me to take photos and measurements of the inside and outside of your house or property. This process should only take about 30 minutes. I will then generate a report using several key data points such as recent sales of similar homes. The result is an accurate, reliable estimate of the current market value of your home or property.
Are you working with a lender?
If you are already working with a bank to either obtain a mortgage, refinance, or get a home equity line, the bank typically orders the appraisal themselves; however, I would still be happy to answer general appraisal questions, so feel free to call or email me!
